The Albany County Industrial Development Agency is working with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company, on a $27 million expansion project in the village of Menands. The project would create 80 full-time jobs. The new facility, on an 18-acre property at 431 Broadway, will be Regeneron’s first investment in Albany County. The company also has a location in Rensselaer County. The Regeneron project aligns with the county’s 2020 Economic Development Strategy, which identified life sciences as a priority industry for growth.
